João Morais

João Morais has a diverse work experience in various game development and software engineering roles. João is currently working as a Senior Game Developer at The Glimpse Group, focusing on immersive health experiences. Prior to this, João served as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Triumvrate. João also worked as the Director of Engineering at inciteVR.

João has substantial experience in educational game development. João worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Adtalem Global Education - Innovation Center of Excellence, ILX Team, where they developed educational games. Additionally, João taught Artificial Intelligence in a Digital Game Design Course at Instituto Politécnico de Bragança.

Earlier in their career, João worked as a Junior Software Engineer at Becker Professional Education, where they contributed to educational game development. João also gained valuable experience as a Game Designer, Programmer, and 3D Artist at Immersive Douro.

Before entering the game development field, João started their career as a Field Technician at ZON Multimédia. Overall, João Morais has a strong background in game development, software engineering, and educational game design.

João Morais began their education in 2003 at Munich International School e.V., where they completed their International Baccalaureate from 2003 to 2006. João then pursued further education at Universidade Nova de Lisboa from 2006 to 2009, specializing in Informatics Engineering. Later, from 2010 to 2013, João attended Instituto Politécnico de Bragança, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Digital Game Design.
