Pia Behmuaras

Pia Behmuaras has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple companies and roles. In 2017, they worked as a Design Intern at Impact Hub Istanbul. The following year, they served as a Community Development Intern at Impact Hub Brixton. From 2018 to 2020, Pia worked as a Research Assistant at Prof. Dr. Ipek Ilkkaracan, Women's Library and Research Center. In 2020, they interned as a Product Development Intern at NewPathVR. In 2021, Pia pursued further education as an XR Design Student at XR Terra. They later interned as a Product Management Intern at Foretell Reality in 2022. Additionally, Pia was a Student at Vassar College from 2019 to 2022, during which they took on various roles. This includes being a Researcher, leading a research study on the anxiety-reducing impacts of awe in virtual reality, a CAAD Intern, and an RSLCP Design and Programming Intern. Currently, they hold the position of Product Manager and Experience Designer at Foretell Reality, starting in 2022. Pia also engaged in a VR Design program at XR Terra in 2022, where they collaborated with a team to complete a large-scale virtual reality project.

Pia Behmuaras attended Açı Schools from 2015 to 2019, where they achieved High Honor Roll. Pia then pursued higher education at Vassar College from 2019 to 2023, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Studio Art.
