Patrick Brethour

Patrick Brethour is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in editorial leadership and reporting. Currently serving as Editorials Editor at The Globe and Mail since September 2017, Patrick directs and edits editorials while occasionally contributing to writing. Prior roles include Tax and Fiscal Policy Reporter at The Globe and Mail, and Editor in Chief at Brunswick News Inc., where a focus on high-quality content resulted in a significant increase in readership and engagement, as well as numerous prestigious awards. Patrick's career at The Globe and Mail began in 1998 and included various roles such as Night Editor and Deputy Managing Editor of the Report on Business.
