Senior Editor, Climate, Environment And Resources at The Globe and Mail

Ryan MacDonald is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in climate, environment, and resources reporting. Currently serving as a Senior Editor at The Globe and Mail since February 2007, Ryan leads initiatives addressing climate change and the transition to a low-carbon economy. Previously, Ryan held various editorial roles at The Ottawa Citizen, including Head of Programming, Political Editor, and News Editor, and served as National Editor at Dose. Educational accomplishments include a Masterclass in Sustainable Finance for Journalists from the University of Oxford, a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Communication from Ryerson University, participation in the Oxford Climate Journalism Network, and completion of an Executive Leadership Program at the Ivey School of Business.
