Daniel Phillips

Daniel Phillips is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial management. As the Owner of The Good and the Beautiful since June 2018, Daniel has built a strong foundation in business leadership. Previously, Daniel served as the Senior Vice President of Finance and Controller at Mountain America Credit Union, where responsibilities included overseeing all accounting functions and managing external audits. Daniel also held roles as Vice President of Finance and Assistant Controller at the credit union. Other notable positions include Finance Chair on the Board of Utah Business Week and Division Controller at Woodside Homes, where Daniel effectively managed division accounting functions and contributed to strategic planning. Daniel's career began at Ernst & Young as Assurance Staff, gaining audit experience across various companies. Daniel holds a Master's degree in Accountancy with a focus on Professional Accounting from Brigham Young University.
