The Good Economy
As the UK’s leading, independent social impact advisory firm, we partner with organisations looking to define, measure, evaluate, report and verify impact investments that make a positive contribution to sustainable development. With deep experience in economic development around the world, we have seen first hand that a new approach to addressing social and spatial inequalities is required. Our research shows that by adopting a place-based impact investment (PBII) approach real change can be achieved. We share this knowledge with clients and partners in order to build out the three pillars of a Good Economy - Ecological Sustainability, Essentials for Everyday Living and Economic Dynamism. Our four practice areas are: Impact Services ● Impact Strategy Development ● Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) system design ● Impact due diligence ● Impact assessment and reporting ● Bespoke services: Research, Strategy Advisory and Training Impact Assured ● Impact reviews ● Impact verification (AA1000 Assurance Standard) Place Based Impact Investing Consultancy ● PBII Reporting Framework ● Local Government Pension Fund PBII Reports ● Asset Manager PBII Reports ● PBII Data Analytics ● Good Jobs Rating ● Good Economy Index PBII Ecosystem ● PBII Labs ● PBII Forum ● PBII Network The Good Economy also serves as the Secretariat for the Sustainability Reporting Standard for Social Housing.
