Sofia Janson

Sofia Janson is an experienced legal advisor currently serving as Rättsråd at Sveriges EU-representation since August 2020. Janson has previously held several significant roles within the Regeringskansliet, including Kansliråd for the EU-kansliet and for the Enheten för Migrations- och Asylpolitik. Additional experience includes a position as a National Expert in Professional Training at the European Commission and earlier roles at both the Regeringskansliet and Sveriges EU-representation. Janson holds a Politices Magister in Political Science from Uppsala University and has also studied abroad at The University of Western Australia. Janson’s educational background includes studies at the University of Gothenburg and Europaskolan, Strängnäs.
