Sophie Holgate

Sophie Holgate is an accomplished co-writer and co-creator currently contributing to "Area Fifty-Fun Interrupts: Cinderella" at Area Fifty-Fun Productions since December 2019, showcasing themes of bullying and individuality through engaging comedy and physical theatre. Additionally, Sophie serves as a Project Facilitator at The Grace Eyre Foundation, where efforts are focused on empowering adults with learning disabilities through playwriting and performance, as well as leading the Travel Buddy Project to highlight the independence gained by participants. Previous experience includes script editing for Verlodan Films, coordinating youth arts initiatives with The Hummingbird Project, and creating content as a blogger. Sophie holds a Master of Arts degree in Creative Writing from the University of Brighton and has a diverse educational background from Varndean College and Varndean School.
