Rei Wang

Co-Founder & CPO at The Grand World

Rei Wang is the co-founder and CPO of The Grand World. Rei was previously the CEO of Dorm Room Fund, an investment fund backed by First Round Capital. During their time at DRF, they oversaw 155 new investments, grew the fund's investment pace 1.8X year over year, and helped the founders raise $500 million in follow-on funding from top-flight firms. Rei also launched a new fund for DRF alumni to invest in entrepreneurs called Graduate Fund.

Before DRF, Rei was a product manager and global community lead at General Assembly. Rei also spent time as a manager for GOOD Local and GOOD Maker at GOOD Worldwide Inc. Her career began as a business strategist at Ogilvy & Mather.

Rei Wang has a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Emory University. Rei also has completed programs in Front End Web Development and User Experience Design from General Assembly. Most recently, they completed a program in Product Management from General Assembly.

Their manager is Anita Hossain Choudhry, Co-Founder & CEO. Some of their coworkers include Frankie Cheung - Founding Engineer, Cher Shedd - Head of Operations, and Mira Celso - Founding Designer.
