Megan Leafblad Gottschalk

Creative Producer: Events, Food & Hospitality at The Great Northern

Megan Leafblad Gottschalk currently serves as the Associate Director of Public Engagement at the Walker Art Center since November 2022, having previously held the role of Manager of Public Engagement at the same institution. In addition to this position, Megan has been a Project Manager and Consultant for the annual Graze 4 Good event at The Minneapolis Foundation since 2014, and a Creative Producer for events, food, and hospitality at The Great Northern since August 2021. Earlier experiences include managing public programs at Walker Art Center and creative project management at Grand Cafe. Megan's extensive background also encompasses leadership roles at Travail Kitchen and Amusements, event design for Pollen Midwest, and board membership at The Soap Factory, where organizational capacity and emerging contemporary art were promoted. Educational credentials include a Fellowship from the Hubert H Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Art Education and Studio Art from Bethel University.
