B.Gautam

A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from JNTU-Hyderabad went on to do a Management Education Program from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He started his career with Indus Group with his involvement in the Project Planning & Execution of plant up-gradation and expansion of the group company Asian Herbex at its production facility at Hyderabad and later moved full time construction activities since 1998. In 1999 he was elevated to the post of Managing Director of Indus. In 2007 he took over the role of CEO for GreenPark Hotels & Resorts (a Hyderabad based Hotel group) and since then the company has evolved under his leadership. With a strategic goal of making it a strong pan India operator of hotels and select facilities; his role was pivotal in spearheading the company’s recent foray in to facility management (ISB, Hyderabad) and upscale hotels with the brands Marigold and Avasa. Under him GreenPark transformed from a company owning three standalone hotels into an organization with a corporate leadership team with capabilities of a hotel chain to consistently provide quality services across multiple locations with a common brand promise. Gautam, currently the moving force behind Indus & GreenPark manages to strike a great work-life balance and pursue all his interests. An avid vintage and classic car enthusiast, a devout cyclist, a serial reader and an ardent traveller, Gautam’s interests are as multifarious as his ideas to lead the two companies to greater heights.
