Christof Hettiger

Christof Hettiger, PE, is a skilled engineer with a strong background in structural analysis and dynamics, currently serving as a Product Development Engineer at The Greenbrier Companies since July 2022. Previously, Christof held various engineering roles at BNSF Logistics from May 2014 to June 2022, advancing from Engineer II to Engineer III, and worked at Bell Flight from August 2012 to January 2014 as an Engineer I and Associate Engineer in structural dynamics. Christof's career began with a focus on structural design at L-3 Communications as a Coop Engineer from August 2009 to August 2010 and included tutoring at the University of Texas at Austin from January 2008 to May 2012. Christof earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, with a minor in Psychology, from The University of Texas at Austin, complemented by a six-week summer study abroad program in Psychology and Sustainable Energy Technologies at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad in 2011.
