Giayen Nguyen

Giayen Nguyen is an experienced Associate Design Engineer at The Greenbrier Companies since June 2015, specializing in the design of railcar parts in accordance with AAR specifications and utilizing SolidEdge and AutoCAD for drafting, along with conducting stress and vibration analysis using FEMAP with NX Nastran. Prior to this role, Giayen worked as Clerical Support at the University of Portland from September 2012 to May 2015, where responsibilities included organizing records, updating spending statements, and providing technical assistance to faculty. Giayen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Portland and completed high school at Benson Polytechnic High School with a focus on Communications Technology.
