The Greens/EFA in the European Parliament
Catherine Olier is an experienced professional in advocacy and policy with a focus on European affairs and international development. Currently serving as the Team Leader for the European Green Deal at The Greens/EFA in the European Parliament since July 2015, Catherine has held various roles including Economic and Financial Affairs Adviser and Tax Justice Campaigner. Prior experience includes positions as EU Essential Services Policy Adviser and West Africa Regional Coordinator for Oxfam, as well as EU Advocacy and Policy Officer for health at the Red Cross/EU Office. Catherine's early career included a traineeship at the European Commission - DG Development and Cooperation. Catherine holds multiple master's degrees in European and International Law from prestigious institutions, including UCL, Lund University, and Université Paul Cézanne.
