Mariana Rogê Ferreira Duarte is a Quantitative Analyst at The Grupe Company since July 2022, following an extensive background in athletics and finance. Mariana served as a member of the Brazilian Water Polo National Team from December 2014 to December 2022, competing in prominent events including the Rio 2016 Olympics, PanAmerican Games, and World Championships, which fostered skills in teamwork and resilience. As a Consulting Research Analyst at the University of the Pacific's Eberhardt School of Business, Mariana contributed to a business plan addressing homelessness in America through comprehensive market research. Mariana was also a student-athlete and captain of a Division 1 Water Polo program, earning recognition as a 3X Conference Champion and 4X All-American Nominee. Additional experience includes leading a summer research project at AGGIR Ventures, co-managing a $4 million investment portfolio as Co-CEO of the Eberhardt Student Investment Fund, and delivering an annual report to the University Board of Regents. Mariana holds a Master’s of Science in Finance and a BSBA Degree in Business Administration from the University of the Pacific.
