Shannon Barton

Shannon Barton is a dedicated professional in the field of recreation management, currently serving as a Student Services Coordinator and Recreation Coordinator at The Guild for Human Services since July 2018. In this role, Shannon plans after-school and weekend activities for children with intellectual disabilities, focusing on diverse activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and community experiences. Prior experience includes a Recreation Programming Intern position at the Newmarket Recreation Department, where Shannon managed front desk operations and planned winter/spring programming, as well as serving as a Special Event Coordinator, organizing multiple special events for summer camp attendees. Shannon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Management and Policy from the University of New Hampshire, obtained in 2018.
