Staff Photographer at The GW Hatchet

Paige James has significant experience in donor development at Georgia Public Broadcasting since June 2016. In addition to this role, Paige has worked as a staff photographer for The GW Hatchet and served as a campus tour guide for GWU STAR, both since September 2015. Paige completed studies at George Washington University from 2015 to 2018.

The GW Hatchet

The GW Hatchet, founded in 1904, is an editorially and financially independent newspaper serving The George Washington University community in downtown Washington, D.C. It is the second oldest newspaper in the city. The Society of Professional Journalists named The Hatchet the best non-daily college newspaper in the nation for 2003-2004, and again in 2006-2007. The newspaper is also a winner of the 2005 and 2008 Pacemaker and 2008 Online Pacemaker awards, given out by Associated Collegiate Press. The Hatchet counts five Pulitzer Prize winners among its alumni. The newspaper is produced by Hatchet Publications, Inc., an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. It is headquartered in a townhouse at 609 21st St. NW in the heart of Foggy Bottom.
