Nick Shelmerdine

Nick Shelmerdine has a diverse work experience, with their most recent position being Strategy & Corporate Development Director at The Gym Group since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Strategy Advisor, leading large strategy processes for Wagamama and The Gym Group, as well as business plan and strategy development for Sessions Market series A fundraise. From 2017 to 2021, Nick held various roles at The Restaurant Group plc, including Strategy & Transformation Director, Managing Director, Director of Operational Excellence, and Transformation Director. Nick Shelmerdine attended Radley College in Oxfordshire from 1995 to 2000. Nick then went on to study at the University of Cambridge from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Natural Sciences and Management Studies. Additionally, in 2004 to 2005, they attended the Cambridge Judge Business School and obtained a Master of Arts degree.
