Kate Zhang

Kate Zhang, CPA, currently serves as a Senior Consultant in Strategy & Operations at The Hackett Group Inc., focusing on Supply Chain and Source-to-Pay optimization assessments while leading community volunteering initiatives and events aimed at empowering women and non-binary individuals. With extensive experience as a Lead Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo - School of Accounting and Finance, Kate has also held various consultant roles at EY, leading strategy and finance transformation projects in the Financial Services sector and managing large-scale IT transformations. Earlier professional experiences include roles at Sun Life Financial as a Compliance Analyst and at The MasterCard Foundation in financial reporting and business analytics. Kate holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management, both from the University of Waterloo.
