Oliver Gerard-Pearse

Oliver Gerard-Pearse is a seasoned Regional Technical Advisor at The HALO Trust since May 2018, focusing on clearance operations in Southern Africa, particularly in Angola and Zimbabwe. Oliver has extensive experience in operations management, having overseen large teams and implemented innovative management structures across various challenging environments, including Eastern Ukraine and Nagorno Karabakh. Earlier roles include managing national survey projects and contributing to mine clearance efforts in Sri Lanka. In addition, Oliver has effectively coordinated UXO mitigation activities and undergone training in operations management and risk management. Previous experience also includes manual labor and military training as an Officer Cadet in the British Army. Oliver holds a Foundation degree in Life Sciences from Oxford Brookes University.
