Nasrin Hashemi has helped manage her family office for the past decade, prior to which, she worked in Consulting Finance at Oracle Corporation for 12 years. Before moving to the United States in 1990, Nasrin was a social worker and supported families struggling with mental illness and drug addiction. She is a board member and treasurer of the HAND Foundation where she works with nonprofits and overseas the grantmaking process. Nasrin is deeply devoted to a wide variety of child-advocacy causes, including Big Brother and Big Sisters, San Mateo Child Advocates Council, and Nueva School. Nasrin holds a degree from Tehran School of Social Work in Iran.
