Zaida Joaquin

Mrs. Joaquin who began her insurance career at the then American Life Insurance Company (ALICO) in 1981, is an experienced Life Underwriter. Upon joining The Hand-in-Hand Mutual Fire Insurance Company Limited in 1992, she has held many positions throughout the Company. Her most recent post is that of Human Resources/ Administrative Manager.

She is also the Current Chief Commissioner of the Scout Association of Guyana, the Chairman of the Caribbean Scout Executive Committee, a Committee member of the Interamerican Scout Committee, and a member of the Global Support Core Group of the World Organization of Scout Movement. In addition, she is the current Vice Chairman of the Queen’s College Board of Governors.
