Drew Willson

Drew Willson is an experienced investment professional currently serving as the Managing Director of Alternative Investments at The Hanover Company since 2021, where leadership of alternative investment activities is a key responsibility. Prior to this, Drew was a Principal at SouthernSun Asset Management from 2013 to 2020, contributing to a $6 billion long-only investment firm with a focus on long-term business ownership and fundamental research. Previously, Drew worked as a Principal at Wellspring Management from 2004 to 2012, specializing in a $250 million long-short equity hedge fund with a focus on banks, consumer sectors, and commercial real estate. Drew holds an MBA in Business from Vanderbilt University and a BA in History from Auburn University.
