Patricia Norton-Gatto

Patricia Norton-Gatto, CPA, CGMA, has extensive experience in accounting and reporting, currently serving as Controller at The Hanover Insurance Group since 2000, where responsibilities include leading accounting and reporting teams and initiatives in investment and premium accounting. Previous roles at The Hanover include VP & Director of Property & Casualty Insurance Accounting & Reporting, where Patricia ensured timely reporting of financial statements and developed accounting policies, and VP & Director of Consolidated, SEC Reporting & Controls, leading the successful implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 internal controls. Early career experiences include positions at Allmerica Financial, where Patricia advanced to Director of Consolidated & SEC Reporting, and KPMG Peat Marwick as Supervising Senior Accountant. Patricia holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Certificate in Principles of Finance from Harvard Extension School.
