Luke Whealing has worked in the IT industry since 2008. Theirfirst role was as an IT Support Technician at Wilkin & Sons Ltd., where they were responsible for 1st/2nd Line IT support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintenance of office supplies, faxes and printers, and maintaining 4 remote sites each with PC's and other hardware. In 2014, they moved to Alstons Upholstery Ltd., where they took on the role of IT Support Technician. In this role, they were responsible for 1st/2nd Line support, upgrading users to new pc's/OS versions, troubleshooting problems from minor issues to company wide issues, using ITIL methodology to schedule and perform tasks in the most efficient way possible, and sourcing new hardware, PC's, laptops, printers and supplies. Most recently, in 2021, Luke began working as a Developer at The Happiness Index.
Luke Whealing attended Honywood Community Science School from 2001 to 2006 and Braintree College (Colchester Institute) from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained an IT Practitioners BTEC National Diploma (Level 3).
