Brett McCabe

Brett McCabe is an accomplished writer with extensive experience in satire across various entertainment mediums. Since May 2017, Brett has contributed to The Hard Times as a punk rock satire article writer and has been writing video game satire articles for Hard Drive since February 2018. Additional writing roles include concert reviews for Get Some Magazine, satirical content for Egobaby, and Kickstarter-related satire for JumpKick. A brief freelancing stint at Stereogum in March 2023 involved exploring the Depeche Mode tribute scene in southern California. Brett also served as a podcast producer for Doom Scroll, focusing on comedy and internet culture, while previous roles included transcribing and administrative support in the entertainment industry. Brett holds a degree in English, Writing, Communication, & Rhetoric from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
