Sophie de Freitas

Sophie de Freitas is an experienced educational professional currently serving as a Lower School Learning Specialist at Harley School since August 2023. Previously, Sophie held the position of Assistant Summer Program Director at The Quad Manhattan and has served as an Independent SETSS Provider for the NYC Department of Education. Sophie also worked as the Lower School Special Education Head Teacher at The Quad Preparatory School and gained additional experience as an Administrative Associate and Tutor at The Quad Manhattan. Other roles include Graduate Assistant at The Research Foundation for SUNY and Site Supervisor at AutismUp. Sophie holds a Master of Science in Education in Reading and Literacy from SUNY Geneseo and a Bachelor of Science in Education, specializing in Childhood Education with Special Education and a concentration in History, also from SUNY Geneseo.
