Lisa Sanger Blinn has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lisa Sanger is currently employed as the Project Director for the Healthy Minds, Healthy Communities initiative at The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD. In this role, they lead a community-based mental wellness and resiliency project. Prior to that, Lisa ran their own consulting firm, Lisa Sanger Blinn Consulting, where they worked with non-profits and governmental agencies in the greater Houston area. Lisa Sanger'sresponsibilities included project evaluation, program development, and change initiatives. Lisa has also held positions at Rice University, Teach for America, Houston Independent School District, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Print Marketing Concepts Inc, demonstrating their diverse background and experience in various fields.

Lisa Sanger Blinn holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History, with a focus on Early Modern History, from Bard College. Lisa Sanger also earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Houston, specializing in Social Work. Lisa has additional certifications including being a Licensed Master Social Worker from the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners, obtained in May 2021, and being a Labyrinth Facilitator certified by Veriditas in 2014.
