Cory Popovich

Cory Popovich is an experienced data science and leadership professional currently serving as the Director of Data Science for Asset Owners at The Hartford since August 2004. In this role, Cory partnered with business stakeholders to enhance product strategies utilizing data science and artificial intelligence. As Sustainability Lead, coaching efforts improved profitable growth within the Middle and Large Commercial insurance sector. Cory also spearheaded the implementation of Lean Management to foster process excellence and developed a comprehensive Employee Experience strategy for over 18,000 employees. Prior experience includes serving as AVP of Employee Experience and Director of Program Management, where successful program execution was achieved, including a significant technology services agreement with IBM. Earlier in the career, Cory worked as a Senior Consultant at CGI-AMS, focusing on IT systems for the financial services industry. Cory holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Susquehanna University.
