Donna Tommelleo

Donna Tommelleo has an extensive background in communication and writing, having held significant positions across various organizations. Currently serving as Captain at On The Outside Looking In Strategies since September 2023, Tommelleo also works as a Writer in Group Benefits Marketing at The Hartford and previously held the role of Assistant Director, Thought Leadership there since December 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Communications for the Connecticut State Insurance Department from January 2011 to February 2019, and working as a Press Aide and Speech Writer at the Governor's Office for the State of Connecticut from June 2008 to January 2011. Early in the career, Tommelleo was City Editor at the Norwich Bulletin and held writing positions at the Associated Press and Lancaster Farming Newspaper. Education was completed at Penn State University.
