Timothy Carling

Timothy Carling is an accomplished Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at The Hartford, with over 25 years of experience in information security, governance, and compliance. Timothy has held various leadership roles within the organization, including Deputy CISO, where Timothy oversaw a wide range of security responsibilities, and as AVP of IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance, establishing an enterprise team to enhance regulatory compliance efforts. Additionally, Timothy has contributed to business resilience initiatives, managed IT finance and operations, and led key projects aimed at operational improvements. Prior to The Hartford, Timothy worked as an analyst at Accenture, focusing on healthcare consulting. Timothy holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Health Systems Management from the University of Connecticut.
