Joy Zhang

Joy Zhang is a dedicated student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree at the University of Pennsylvania, with an expected graduation in 2025. Joy holds multiple research and leadership roles, including Student Researcher at Geisinger and Summer Bioethics Trainee at The Hastings Center. Joy is also the VP of Projects at Empower Through Health, focusing on theater-based public health interventions in Uganda, and actively involved in GlobeMed as President of the Penn chapter. In addition to academic pursuits, Joy contributes to the community as a tutor in both General Chemistry and various subjects for ESL students. Joy's earlier experience includes positions as a lifeguard and a research assistant within the Geisinger Anesthesia Department.
