Jim Lyons

Jim Lyons has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Jim started their career in the US Navy as an Aviation Boatswains Mate (Handler) on the USS Enterprise (CVN-65), serving from 1987 to 1990. Following their military service, Jim joined TruMark Financial Credit Union as a Software Engineer from 1999 to 2005. Jim then moved on to The Haverford Trust Company, where they held various positions, including Software Engineer from 2005 to 2010, Information Technology Manager from 2010 to 2018, and Director of Software Engineering from 2018 to 2021. Currently, Jim serves as the Vice President and Director of Software Engineering at The Haverford Trust Company, starting in July 2021.

Jim Lyons has a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) in Information Systems from Villanova University. Jim also holds an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Information Systems from Delaware County Community College, which they completed from 2006 to 2010. In addition, they obtained a diploma in Client/Server Programming from Computer Learning Center in 1999. Jim completed their high school education at Archbishop Wood from 1981 to 1985, although the field of study is not specified. Furthermore, they obtained two certifications: "Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself" and "Management Foundations: Advanced Applications" from LinkedIn in May 2019.
