Jessica Popp has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Jessica is currently an Operating Advisor at Bessemer Venture Partners since 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Board President at The HDF Group in 2018. From 2021 to 2023, Jessica served as the CTO at Ada, where they contributed to significant growth and operational improvements. Jessica was also a Member at Chief from 2022 to 2023. At Twilio Inc., they held the position of VP, Engineering from 2019 to 2021, leading business optimization and achieving exceptional performance. Jessica's work at SendGrid as Sr. Director, Engineering from 2018 to 2019 contributed to the company's success and acquisition by Twilio. Jessica was a Steering Committee Member at Women in High Performance Computing (WHPC) in 2018. Prior to that, they served as General Manager at DDN Storage's IME Business Unit from 2017 to 2018, overseeing product preparation and team growth. Jessica's work at Intel Corporation from 2012 to 2017 included roles such as Sr. Director Engineering and Director, Technical Operations, where they demonstrated growth leadership and secured significant funding. Jessica also served as Affiliate Faculty at Regis University from 2010 to 2013, mentoring students in the Project Management specialization.

Jessica Popp attended William & Mary from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Information Systems. Jessica then pursued further education at Virginia Commonwealth University - School of Business from 1998 to 1999, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Decision Sciences. In terms of additional certifications, Jessica obtained a Machine Learning certification from Coursera in March 2018. Jessica also holds certifications in Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Project Management Professional (PMP). The institution that provided the CSM certification is unknown, while the PMP certification was obtained from the Project Management Institute.
