Dr. Lesley Lappin

Founding Cohort Member 'q' Initiative at The Health Foundation

Dr. Lesley Lappin is an experienced academic and healthcare professional currently serving as a Fellow of Higher Education Academy since 2016 and as Programme Leader for the MSc Leadership and Management for Health Care Practice at the University of Salford. Additionally, Dr. Lappin leads the MSc Leading Change for Patient and Service Improvement module and has been a lecturer at the university since 2013. Active in the healthcare sector, Dr. Lappin is a founding cohort member of The Health Foundation's 'Q' Initiative and previously held significant roles at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, including Vascular Clinical Research Manager and co-director of a quality improvement collaborative for kidney dialysis patients. Dr. Lappin's educational background includes a PhD in Quality Improvement in Healthcare and several relevant academic qualifications from the University of Salford and the University of Bolton.
