Becky Seabrook has over 17 years of experience in non-profit and museum management, program design, and best practices in science education and e-learning. During the eleven years that she has been at The Health Museum, she has worked successfully and collaboratively within and across departments on the strategic development, implementation and evaluation of museum programs and experiences. She has grown local and regional collaborations with organizations in the public and private sectors that promoted interest and achievement in science and health, leveraged partner strengths and resources, increased visibility in the community, and strengthened the museum’s revenue streams. She has demonstrated successful management of resources to meet or exceed revenue and attendance goals and has presented at national and state conferences for the American Alliance of Museums, the Visitor Studies Association, the Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching, and the Texas Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance. She graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and an M.S. in Biomechanics from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and currently serves on the Executive Board of the American Leadership Forum – Gulf Coast Region.
