Dave Mathieu

Since 1989, David has served in several positions at The Health Plan: V.P. Sales/Marketing, V.P. Commercial Products, and Sr. Vice President of Underwriting and Regulatory Services. Prior to his career with The Health Plan, David was the Director of Sales/Marketing for MetLife Healthcare Network of Florida, Inc. David received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from West Liberty University and his Masters of Business Administration from West Virginia University. David is a former, two-term board member for the Ohio County Board of Education. He is a past chairman of the Wheeling Health Right Board of Directors, Main Street Bank board member and organizer, Ohio Association of Health Plans delegate, and former marketing committee member for the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley. David enjoys biking, softball and pickleball, and has also coached youth baseball and fast-pitch softball in the greater Wheeling area. David resides in Wheeling, WV with his wife, Jill and four children.
