Amanda Abdelsamad

Server at The Henry

Amanda Abdelsamad has extensive experience in both academic and service roles. Currently serving as a server at The Henry since October 2016, Amanda also contributed to Arizona State University as a Teaching Assistant for BIO 182 General Biology from August 2022 to May 2023, managing coursework for 300 students, grading assignments, and mentoring through research opportunities. As the Brown Bag Coordinator, Amanda organized a graduate seminar series and fostered collaborations to enhance professional development among graduate students. Additionally, experience as a Student Researcher in the McCutcheon Lab at the ASU Biodesign Institute involved designing protocols and formulating hypotheses related to endosymbiosis. Amanda holds a Master of Science degree in Biology and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Anthropology and Biology from Arizona State University.
