Brooks Ballard

Admissions Advisor at The Heritage Community

Brooks has worked at Heritage since July 2004, working as Morning Counselor and Home Lead. He enjoys his current position as Admissions Officer. Connecting with parents over the phone is a vital skill, and an intrinsic part of both his job and his character. Brooks is a great resource for parents, whether giving information by phone, giving tours of our campus, or introducing them to the professionals they will be working with. He listens to concerns, eases anxieties, and helps families know what to expect. Brooks shares real and applicable experiences which help parents “build up confidence so that they can know for themselves that things will be okay.” His degree in psychology has attuned him to understanding neurology, how to work with different personalities and help the students with their beginning adjustment phase. “I feel like the Relationship Model is paramount to the nurturing environment of Heritage.” Brooks was born and raised in Logan, Utah. He is married with five children, one girl and four boys. He loves art, the outdoors, home improvement, and construction/restoration projects. In his leisure time, he enjoys cooking, working in the yard, playing with his kids, going on adventures and remodeling his house.
