John Ott

John Ott is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in strategic planning and advisory roles. Currently serving as Chairman of the Board at The Hideaways Club since March 2022, John oversees a luxury property portfolio shared among members. As an Advisory Partner and former Partner at Bain & Company since February 2006, John has contributed to various strategic initiatives. Previously, John held the position of Chairman Of The Board at Funding Xchange from 2018 to April 2022, and served as Group Director of Strategy & Planning at Barclays Bank plc from July 2003 to January 2006, where responsibilities included M&A transactions and strategy development for emerging markets. Prior experience includes a Partner role at McKinsey & Company, focusing on financial institutions across North America and Asia, and an Assistant Vice President position at US Bancorp. John holds a Bachelor's degree in History and a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton College, as well as an educational background from The Johns Hopkins University.
