Gilbert Wir

Gilbert Wir is an accomplished human resource professional with extensive experience in strategic HR management. Currently serving as the Assistant Human Resource Manager at Higher Education Loans Board since May 2016, Gilbert is responsible for planning and coordinating HR activities. Previously, Gilbert worked at the National Bank of Kenya since January 2013, holding key positions such as HR Analyst and Talent & Performance Specialist. At the National Bank, Gilbert focused on managing HR records, administering HRMIS, formulating strategic initiatives, and developing performance management tools. Gilbert holds a Masters in Human Resource Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, an Executive Diploma in Corporate Leadership from the College of Human Resource Management, and a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management from The Kenya Polytechnic University College, along with a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Maseno University.
