Peter joined the company as sales manager in 1999 and in 2007 was promoted to business development manager for Hills Quarry Products’ aggregate and the concrete business. A further series of promotions began in 2010 when Peter became divisional director for Quarry Products; then general manager in 2013 and his current role as Group director for Hills Quarry Products in 2014. Peter has over 30 years’ experience in the aggregates, waste and haulage industry. He is a member of both the Institute of Quarrying, the Institute of Waste Management and represents the company at the Mineral Products Association and is an industry representative on the board of QSRMC.

Hills is a privately owned family company which was founded in 1900. It is a regional business based in Wiltshire but with operations in the surrounding counties. Its principal activities are recycling and waste management, quarrying of aggregates and production of ready-mixed concrete, and building new homes.
