Ashan Jayakody

Ashan Jayakody is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Engineering Coordinator at The Hills Shire Council since October 2022. With a strong background in civil engineering, having earned a Bachelor of Engineering from UNSW in 2018, Ashan has previously held positions as Public Infrastructure Engineer at Waverley Council and Civil Assets Engineer at the City of Ryde. In addition to engineering roles, Ashan has been a Community Volunteer for the NSW State Emergency Service since June 2017, demonstrating qualifications in traffic control, emergency traffic management, and flood rescue operations.
