Shikha Kumari

Shikha Kumari is a seasoned media professional currently serving as the Group Executive Producer at The Hindu since March 2023. With prior experience as the Head of Videos at STEP from The Hindu Group, Shikha established a video production team and oversaw all aspects of multimedia content creation. Earlier roles included founder and artist at Artistick Ink, co-founder and content head at Good News India, and media coordinator at Agni Foundation. Shikha has also held academic positions as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Journalism at IFIM College. Academically, Shikha holds a Master of Arts in Television News and Television Production from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Madras.
