Kelsey Stefanson has an extensive work experience in design and art direction. In 2007, they started their career as a Graphic Designer at Cal Poly Continuing Education, where they worked on designing course catalogs, web graphics, flyers, and newspaper advertisements. Kelsey then moved on to Associated Students, Inc., Cal Poly State University, where they served as a Graphic Designer.
In 2009, Kelsey joined bpg as an Art Director. Kelsey conceptualized, executed, and refined key art and collateral for film and television projects. Kelsey also took on the role of In-House Photography Coordinator, managing lighting, shooting models and objects, and organizing schedules and image files.
Kelsey joined Gravillis, Inc. in 2011 as a Designer, where they contributed to the design projects of the company. In 2012, they started working as a Freelance Creative Director and Graphic Designer.
In the same year, Kelsey joined The Hollywood Reporter (THR) and held various positions, including Assistant Art Director, Associate Art Director, Art Director, Senior Managing Art Director, Deputy Design Director, and Design Director. Throughout their tenure, they were involved in overseeing the visual output of THR's digital editorial properties, managing design direction and creative projects for awards season and film festival magazine issues, and implementing design refreshes and efficiency improvements.
