Bam Azizi has a diverse work history that spans various industries and roles. Starting in 2003, they worked as a Creative Designer at Cossette Media. In 2004, they joined WebViews as a Designer & User Experience Specialist, where they focused on globalization and e-business consulting. In 2007, they moved to GWP Brand Engineering as a Creative Strategy & Planner, working with clients in banking, insurance, hospitality, and consumer goods. In 2008, Bam founded their own digital media consultancy, Nioton, where they provided branding campaigns for Canadian enterprises and technology startups. They joined TheRedPin in 2011 as the Head of Digital Marketing & Product Manager, overseeing digital branding and strategy. In 2015, Bam joined TNX Inc. as a Solutions Architect and Technical Product Owner, before transitioning to Paymentus in 2019 as a Sr. Software Architect and Team Lead. Currently, Bam holds the position of Sr. Solution Architect and Tech Lead at The Home Depot Canada. Additionally, they have been involved in angel investing through Maple Leaf Angels, focusing on FinTech, the future of work, and platforms with network effects.
Bam Azizi attended the University of Toronto from 2001 to 2003, where they studied Computer Science and Software Engineering. Bam then went on to complete a bachelor's degree in Design, specializing in Communication Design, at OCAD University from 2003 to 2007. In 2008, Bam obtained certifications as a Google Adwords Certified Partner and a Google Analytics Certified Partner.
