Wasif Awan

Wasif Awan is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and IT leadership. Currently serving as Vice President of Information Technology at The Home Depot since October 2022, Wasif previously held the position of Vice President of eCommerce Engineering at Staples, where responsibilities included overseeing eCommerce and digital platforms and driving customer engagement for B2C and B2B operations. Prior to Staples, Wasif served as SVP of Engineering and Development at Optanix, enhancing IT operational management platforms, and SVP of Engineering and SaaS Operations at Intralinks, where oversight included engineering and cloud operations for a SaaS content management leader. Additional experience includes roles at BearingPoint, Sereniti, K-2 Software Group, Enron Energy Services, and Sprint Nextel. Wasif holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Arizona State University.
