Cristina Vega Goverman

Cristina Vega Goverman serves as the MassSTART Program Director and Workforce Development Trainer at The Home for Little Wanderers since August 2022, overseeing a team of master’s level clinicians and case managers while providing therapy and managing substance abuse prevention services for youth. Previously, Cristina held roles at Walker Therapeutic & Educational Programs, including Assistant Director of Ain ITR and Clinical Supervisor, where responsibilities encompassed team supervision, individual therapy, training employees, and crisis support. Initial career stages involved positions at Orchard Gardens Pilot School, East End House, Horizons for Homeless Children, Idera Pharmaceuticals, and Skanska USA Civil Inc., accumulating diverse experience from social work to finance. Cristina obtained a Master of Social Work from Boston College and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the same institution.
