Alec Ploshnick

Alec Ploshnick is a seasoned product development professional with extensive experience in the consumer packaged goods and personal care industries. Currently serving as Product Development Manager at The Honest Company since November 2020, Alec has previously held roles such as Senior Product Development Engineer and Product Development Engineer. In addition, Alec works as a CPG Development & Launch Consultant for ALP Engineering, LLC. Prior experiences include an R&D Engineer II position at Nice-Pak Products, Inc., and multiple roles at Edgewell Personal Care, where contributions included enhancing absorbent personal hygiene products and leading facility relocations. Alec's career began with a co-op at Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, focusing on engineering drawing creation and quality management processes. Alec holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware and is pursuing further studies in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Mechanics and Transportation Engineering at both The University of Auckland and the University of Canterbury.
