Janis Smith-Gomez

Janis Smith-Gomez serves as the Board Director and Chair of The Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee at Envoy Medical Corporation since October 2023. Currently, Janis holds the position of Board Trustee at The New York Academy of Medicine, where responsibilities include Chair of the Nominating Committee, Development Committee Member, and Retirement Plan Committee Member. Additionally, Janis is a Board Member at Black Public Media and a Strategy Advisor for Brand 50 at World 50. Prior experience includes a series of Vice President roles at Johnson & Johnson spanning from September 2006 to April 2022, and marketing leadership positions at Mars, Kraft Foods, PepsiCo, and Booz Allen Hamilton. Janis obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Chicago.
